We just love introducing new programs at Milly’s Place! This one has quickly become a fan favourite amongst our team and participants. What is it you say? Drum roll….

That’s right, our very own Beauty Shop!

Since starting Milly’s Place earlier in 2023, our NDIS Day Program Centre has grown from strength to strength. We get new members enrolling each week, and is one of our most sort after programs at LME Care. The best part is, you don’t have to be a SIL Participant with LME Care to enjoy our awesome programs at Milly’s Place. We get new people joining from all over Brisbane and surrounds in lots of different capacities.

What Is Beauty Shop?

Think of Beauty Shop as your chance to step into a calm and tranquil environment. Leaving the end of the day relaxed, pampered and rejuvenated.

No, this is no only for the ladies – gents absolutely get involved too! Here participants have the chance to try out a range of pampering all with a qualified beautician. It’s absolutely fine if you are a first timer, you can try as many or as few treatments as you feel comfortable with.

What Types Of Treatments Are Available?

At Beauty Shop, we really have pulled out all the stops! See below our range of treatments currently on offer:

• Nail Bar – offering manicures and pedicures with a lotion application with a choice of nail polish to suit your mood!
• Makeup Tutorials – learn techniques and colours to complement your complexion and features
• Foot Spa – Enjoy a relaxing foot soak and lotion application
• Hair Makeovers – try curls or straightening or find something new!

If you’ve never been to a beauty salon before, this is a great introduction, as well as an opportunity to mix and mingle and make new friends. Or if you are a seasoned professional, we hope you’ll try something new!

How Is This Funded?

We are also taking casual day bookings for all of our programs at Milly’s Place, so if you are keen to try a few days before committing to a membership we can look after you as well.
