
Commencing 7 October we start our final NDIS Day Program Block for 2024! That also means Santa is arriving soon, but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves…
Milly’s Place is our wonderful NDIS Day Centre or Community Hub. It was developed as a place of learning, friendship, growth and most importantly – FUN! Our dedicated team develop a range of activities designed to develop the fine and gross motor skills, improve confidence and encourage social interaction.
Our blocks run 4 times per year, where our facilitators collaborate with participants to hear about what programs they would like or things that interest them. We pride ourselves on continuing to redevelop and freshen our programs to make sure they are engaging and challenging.

In this block we’re going “Around the world in 12 weeks”. Featuring fine flavours from every corner of the globe including Asia, South America, Europe and much more!
Learn numerous artistic techniques using a variety of brushes and mediums. Express yourself creating something new and beautiful. Receive a certificate of competency upon completion.
Our group enjoys some structured lesson time, as well as playing with pool equipment such as noodles. This is a program for all abilities, and encourages interaction amongst the group. Their day ends with a fun BBQ that all of our participants love to get involved in.
Pottery is a real fan favourite! Develop fine motor skills and create new pieces via a structured lesson plan, delivered by a diversional therapist/studio ceramicist to assist in achieving your creative dreams. Receive a certificate of competency upon completion.
Get your dancing shoes on and boogie along to your favourite tunes. Our group head off to a local venue to socialise, meet new people and enjoy live music, singing and dancing.
Fridays are all about CHOICE! We have included visits to the Summer Land Camel Farm (a group favourite), beach days, bowling, movies and so much more.
Improve physical and mental wellbeing with this feel-good experience that allows participants to interact with a variety of animals and animal experiences, such as an: Emu Farm, Alpaca Farm, Miniature Horses, Zoo Visits or Koala Parks. Bookings are essential and numbers are limited.
Hold on to your hat, buckle up and get ready for some thrill seeking adventure! Once per month our participants head out for a mystery day. Previous Mystery Days include Movie World. Where will we go next? You’ll have to join us to find out.
