“Last year was a truly epic event. The car performed well, and the team did a phenomenal job. This year we’re hoping to secure a few more positions even higher up the grid.”Team Principal, Champ Motorsport.
The Bathurst 6 Hour is an annual endurance race held at Mount Panorama in Bathurst, New South Wales. It typically takes place over the Easter long weekend. The race features production cars, ranging from high-performance vehicles to more standard road cars, competing in a six-hour endurance event.
The race was first held in 2016 and has quickly gained popularity among motorsport enthusiast. It provides a unique challenge to drivers and teams. Mainly, due to the demanding nature of the Mount Panorama Circuit. It’s renowned for its steep inclines, sharp turns, and long straights.
Like other endurance races, such as the Bathurst 12 Hour and the famous Bathurst 1000, the Bathurst 6 Hour requires teams to strategise not only for speed but also for durability and reliability over the extended duration of the race. It attracts both amateur and professional drivers, as well as a diverse range of cars from various manufacturers.
The Bathurst 6 Hour has become a significant event on the Australian motorsport calendar, drawing crowds and television audiences eager to witness the excitement of endurance racing on one of the world’s most challenging circuits.
More information about the event can be found on their website here.

This year, we have 3 drivers leading the charge: Steve McHugh, Ian Cowley and Adam Talbert. All of them are highly experienced drivers with countless hours logged around Mount Panorama, and we’re excited to see what they can do this year.
