Introducing Hub Club

We are extremely proud to announce the launch of our brand new day program initiative – Hub Club! The best news is, it’s not only open to our SIL Participants, anyone who is currently an eligible NDIS participant can join. Not sure if you are eligible? Our team at LME Care are on hand to help out, so drop us a line, or check out the NDIS Website.

Background, Why The Need For a Club?

A story we hear all too often, is that NDIS participants want to have an opportunity to attend a range of activities each week like fitness classes, art classes, technology, cooking or general daily skills support. These classes not only teach vital skills, they also help in feeling connected to others and helps to boost confidence learning new things.

Unfortunately, signing up to each of these can be expensive and complex to organise. It’s often not fully covered by your funding or may require a large out of pocket expense.

This is why we have created Hub Club!

What is Hub Club?

Hub club is a brand new membership based concept in providing exciting activities and events to eligible NDIS participants. It uses your existing funding, and will generally require no out of pocket expenses.

Hub club operates in 4 x 13-week blocks (think of it like 4 terms a year). Here you will get to choose from skills-based ranges of activities, all facilitated by qualified instructors.

Each activity is a carefully planned learning session that will be tailored to meet the individual needs of the participants involved. You will be recognised with a certificate of attainment at the completion of the term, how cool is that?

Most classes will be located on site at Milly’s Place, which is our NDIS Community Hub located in Annerley, Brisbane. Milly’s Place was inspired by our very own happiness facilitator – aka. puppy, Milly.

Some classes, where stated, will be off site and transport will be arranged to and from the event where required. Speak to our team if you have any queries on transport. We can also help transport you from your home, to our club for those that require further assistance.

What Types Of Classes Are On Offer?

Our programs have been carefully and meticulously designed to cater for a range of individual circumstances. You can choose from as few, or as many of these activities as you like, and can attend as regularly as you like!
